Prepaid Cards

Not always and not everyone has a good enough credit history to qualify for a credit card. If you used to have credit problems in the past, including bankruptcy, repossession, divorce, it may be not easy to meet the requirements of credit card companies and to qualify for a credit card. Even smaller credit defaults, like the history of late credit card payment can cause a denial of your credit card application. But don't give up! There is a good way to start your perfect credit history with a brand new credit card. Go ahead and apply for a prepaid credit card.

Don't confuse prepaid plastics with secured cards. Prepaid credit card can be used anywhere and the same way you can use a regular credit card. The housewives usually use credit cards for utility payments, online services, or any other monthly bills that come on schedule. Everyone probably would enjoy the convenience of making purchases online, booking a car for rent, or a hotel room. Even if you don't have a credit card, you can use a prepaid one to do all these things and even more.

Some credit card companies offer Visa and MasterCard prepaid cards, which look like regular plastics. You can find a bunch of prepaid credit card deals online. Just enter it into the engine page and start the search. You can fill in an online application and obtain an account within several days. To open a prepaid account, you are required to deposit the minimum balance as a part of prepaid account to start your credit line. When your account is opened and your application is complete, you can start using your plastic to pay for the goods up to the limit on your account. As long as you are making on time credit card payments, you maintain your credit line.

So, the advantages of prepaid cards for women are:

  • A prepaid card is rather easy to get even if you have no credit history. In most cases, you don't have to meet any other requirements except for the complete application form. The card applications are available online, but if you don't have secure access to the internet, you can apply at retail stores as well.
  • If you wish to have a five hundred dollar credit limit, you may deposit five hundred dollars into your account. If you want one thousand dollars, deposit them into your credit card account. Your credit limit is entirely under your control. With the prepaid plastic there are no interest rates or annual fee.
  • While using your card, you are not borrowing funds from the bank that issued the card for you. In other words, by making on time payments, you are improving your credit score. As you are paying your balance in full every month and do not get any interest, your credit debt remains stable and your credit score goes up.
  • Your prepaid card may be used anywhere where they accept Visa or MasterCard plastics and no one is really aware of the difference.
